Awarding Strategies using High-Tec Engineering

Electrical HV

Infrared thermography is an invaluable tool for surveying high voltage electrical systems. Increased resistance in poor and corroded connections will increase the heat generated under load conditions. This heat is invisible to the naked eye but can easily be detected by an infrared camera.

Faults can therefore be detected at an early stage, allowing for timely planning of repairs and avoiding costly and potentially dangerous system failures.
