Noise Emission Report

A noise emission report is a document to determine the noise impact on others generated by mechanical equipment situated at a particular building.

The document is produced after a sound survey is carried out on site in order to establish the existing noise climate. An assessment of how the combined total noise produced is likely to affect the noise climate is conducted at the time where the noise generated by the equipment is likely to cause nuisance to the neighbors.

The report will include advisory and recommendation on how to achieve a lower level of noise that is acceptable and in-line with various standards including the Guidelines for Community Noise issued by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
