What is EMF?

EMF is low frequency electromagnetic field related to the wired electrical grid and power supply systems. Common EMF sources are power transmission lines, internal building wiring system and electrical appliances. Therefore it must be ensured that the exposure to EMF is within the limit values in order to avoid adverse health related conditions. The effects depend on the EMF intensity, source and frequency.
